You speak like a man who has seen the darkest demons
Hahha dear brother most of us are too broken to mend
Too lost be understood
Too scared between living and dead
Never quite in the right choices
Yet I am anchored to these verses
Like a incomplete circuit
Sometimes hope finds a way
Between the verses
The passage of time will heal all wounds as the saying goes
The greater the loss ,the deeper the cuts
More difficult to become whole again
The pain may fade
But scars will forever remain as a remainder of our suffering
This makes the bearer more resilient not to get go
And never to be wounded again
As as times moves along
We get distracted by distractions
Act out in frustrations
Speak without knowledge
React with aggregation
Give into anger
In the process
We plot and plan
Against humans, thoughts and even ourselves
To grow as a human.
Before we know it time passes
We are healed
From the shackles of pain
And ready to move on
To the next wound in making
As the insignificant life goes

A beautiful poem, Raghavasree. Your words get at the heart of human suffering, and the paradox that lies at the center. Namely, that it is in the suffering that we grow, and become more resilient, and then? The suffering begins to dwindle over time. Just as you write. Your poem is a true delight. Have a lovely New Year. 🙏😊
