Weighed down

The little bird was not a sole to dear away from a trouble

All he wanted to do was spread his wings in the winds of his own handwork

To fly with the winds and never turn back

Every day he looked up at the calling horizon

Wondering and dreaming what the world will be like

The poor bird flapped its tired wings

Till it panted out of air

Till they could not flap no more

With every ounce of will power he tried till its last breath

Everyone laughed at birdie

Called him a moron for having a dream to fly

Little did the bird know he was flightless bird

Well some dreams will always remain a dream

Impossible to reach due to prevalages of uncertaininity

Little did anyone notice that birdie had the heart of a falcon

That life burdened his little shoulders with responsibilities of being a chopped up meat on ones table

Anchored him to the monotony wish of anatomy that was against mother nature

Sometimes we are weighed down and forced to carry what we wish not to bear. But the truth is inevitable…

Only the successful stories see the light of day but the many stories are killed as they lack the success rate…

Every one of us have been audience to these failure stories but yet we turn the blind eye. It’s ok to fail… But don’t make it the only failure in life.. If you don’t try you will never know.

Recently I painted this falcon. It somehow connects with me. I have chose to keep the sketch untouched by paint and I painted around the falcon with pastel shades of colour. I hope you like my art and my poem.

A topic to reflect on…. Good day
