Camp fire

It was a lovely night….The stars lighted up the multicolored darkness.

Or maybe it was the occasion that made it so special

Laughter that echoed through the forest. A couple of friends by the campfire side

Singing and chattering to beat of silence

Sipping the beer and recollecting the lost album of memories

Teasing each other of events that they lived

That felt vivid till the very date

After 15 years life introduced them to each other again as someone new

everyone wondered what happened to us….

Some thought it was was part of growing up and some thought it was law of change

The last bencher who amused everyone is now a strict lawyer

The topper of the class that failed the test of life

The two best friends that grew up to become business partners

The hot couple of school that became strangers of current time

A in-overt that never dared to socialize with anyone is now cracking jokes and is the center of entertainment

The duller that reached the height of stardom

A bookworm that became a fashion model

The school stud player is now a single father raising two beautiful girls

the smell of charcoal and fragrance of the pine trees intoxicated the moment

Everyone smiling to there hearts content

A strange evening that changed the perspective of judgment

Life has its ways of surprising us. It waits for no one and during the process we forget how we are all interconnected in this blessing of generation where we are only a call away from connecting and staying in touch with each other.

Go on call your old chap… You never know you might enjoy it
