It’s ok being a ghost

There are ways to enjoy it

Floating around free

You’re invisible and never heard

Neither seen nor rarely noticed

No one to break your heart

Nor to be a burden

Lost and alone

Limited

To opportunities and people

Like a stranded boat that forgot to sail

A numbing silence

Even pills that can’t overcome this unburdening dream

Is what that pulls us through the day

Surrounded by people that make us feel alone

Yet, here we are doubting ourselves

Over situationships and poor decisions

That no one knows nor cares

In the process of being a responsible adult

Where every entitled person is looking down on us

Yet we are learning to float

With a smile hiding thousands of sinking feelings

A life of a boat they say

We have nothing

To carry around

It’s the weight of freedom

Anchored to principles

In the ripples of riddled irony   

With answers to be checked and missed                                                                                

There goes another day into the dawn

Let me give you an insight as to why we did it together as both are from the medical field and both know that the journey to success is a stressful marathon. At times we wish to be someone else. We often forget there are people wishing and praying to be where we were yesterday.This is to all those work hard and loose themselves in the process.

Its ok some roads seem to be longer than others. We know it’s easier said than done. This phase too shall pass and don’t let overthinking get t your head. Believe in the process and breathe it out.
