First daughters

So fragile

The protector, the second mother or the pleaser or the perfectionist

Walking with the strokes of boldness at every step

And yet ready to shatter her heart out to the words of others

That question her existence by those who can’t even walk a step in her shoes

The way she carries herself

When breathing becomes suffocating

In a world that wants to break her to the core

Testing her patience, motivation and determination to not quit

As she learns to crawl with time
even by an inch for a better tomorrow

Holding onto the last string of patience

To a life she is building

Carrying the traumas of mother and the failures of father

There she sits alone at every meal wondering if anyone will ever notice her fully

Where she can count on a fellow human instead of herself for even a fraction of second

Where she can fully explain, express and cry her till there is no tomorrow

As the burden on her shoulders feels heavier by the day

The long lonely nights

The silence of the four walls scream at her and dig into her deeper by the night

To escape from her thoughts she works 6 days a week and Sundays to recharge but chores take over the day

No one dares know why she works so hard

But only noticed a constant smile plastered on her

Behinde a thousand breaking walls inside her

She acts like she knows no pain

Yet her heart is wounded, her body is tired and her mind is exhausted

All she wants is someone to lean on and hold her hand

Hello my readers,

I hope you are all well and didn’t miss me too much. Apologies for being away from the blogging world for so long. I am back. I missed you all.

It’s almost been 4 years since I have started this journey and I can’t thank you guys enough for all of your support and kind words.

I dedicate this post to all the first daughters out there in another country fighting and figuring out yourself when questioning your worth every single night. My dear you are stronger than you know and more capable than you can imagine. Hang in there. Days will get better.

I hope you all could relate and enjoy it

Be posted for the next post.

Be back soon 😉
