Tenacity

It’s been 11 years 8 months 7 days 12 hours ago….

The world forgot but I didn’t

Three teachers and a student

They saw the child’s silent abilities

Foretold what the future may hold for this kid

One teacher observed the child’s creative abilities and said she would be a famous artist one day

The next teacher saw the child’s cleaver ways of playing with words and foretold that she would be a writer one day.

The last teacher thought and held the child’s hand to realize that it was cold as ice on a hot Summer’s eve. The teacher declared she would be a good doctor. As a cold hands means a warm heart as a old saying goes.

Little did the teachers know what the child wanted to be …..

But the teachers words remained with her

Years together

The child promised herself that she would achieve them all….

After years of struggle the child kept up to her promise one after the other

She drew till this elbows and hands were covered in paint and charcoal

until his fingers could not hold a pencil no more

Even when the world mocked her creation

Teaching herself to be consistent even when no one saw her growth

When others ridiculed her stubborn worthless talents

As she lived with a antisocial life.

That was struggling in the midocracy race

She studied all night for a prefix that cost her youth

Case studies and treating patients are the only things that revolved her day

From labs to clinical departments

At mid night in the glimpse of moonlight she would turn into a writer or perhaps a poet

Writing the vibe of various tales and emotions that she is yet to experience

Little did she know that she was creating paths for others to follow

The three teachers quietly watched the child become a young women

climbing higher and higher on the ladder of success year after year

And proving their words

Keeping the pride of joy washing them

The walls of the school whispered the triumphs of the same kid who was bullied for being different

The same kid that made the difference
